YouTube Focus does not collect, sell, or transmit personal information.

Data the extension stores

The extension saves three preferences in Chrome’s sync storage, on your devices:

• whether focus mode is enabled
• the maximum number of search results to show
• whether video comments are shown

These values are used only to apply the extension’s settings. They are not analytics, advertising identifiers, account data, or browsing history.

Data the extension does not collect

YouTube Focus does not:

• read the content of your Google or YouTube account
• collect search queries, video titles, or watch history
• inject analytics, ads, or trackers
• send data to a remote server operated by this project

The extension runs locally in Chrome. It only accesses https://www.youtube.com/* so it can hide recommendation surfaces and limit search results on that site.
